At WalkingWomen we do many things to support women. We encourage women to be adventurous , to step out of their usual life , to have new experiences and be courageous. Sometimes it is difficult for women to feel safe travelling alone and we offer the opportunity to be in a group . We provide a safe environment for women to walk, connect and revive together. It is the being together that do many of our women guests say is what they love.

We also only work with women guides and we seek out local women who can guide us in their country. We support local women as we travel. On this trip in India we are visiting Umang – a Village co operative run by entrepreneurial women and in the region where Sheetal lives.
