Experience the charm of a bygone era on this exciting private Bike and Barge tour and discover the best of what Holland and Belgium have to offer. Cycle during the day through small villages and to world-famous destinations while at night relaxing in the comfort of our floating hotel. Cycling on this tour is through the beautiful – and flat – Dutch countryside of Zeeland and the western Flanders region of Belgium. Attractions along the way include many charming villages, a visit to a Dutch cheese farm, the 19 famous Dutch windmills in Kinderdijk, and the world-famous cities of Antwerp, Ghent, and Bruges. Before boarding our ship, we begin our adventure with an amazing 3 nights in the culturally rich city of Amsterdam, exploring the picturesque canals and rich history this city has to offer. Then we’re off to the world-renowned Keukenhof Gardens, where millions of tulips and spring flowers should be in full blossom. Post-cruise we’ve planned a lovely day of leisure in the beautiful medieval town of Bruges (UNESCO World Heritage). World famous for its medieval architecture and canals, Bruges is also one of Europe’s chocolate hot spots and a great place to sample the tasty delicacies after a week of cycling!
