The Memmo Alfama hotel is the best location and has a spectacular view of the city and water. The rooftop is a must. Drinks, food and a view to soak in. Lovely staff. The rooms are small (typical in Europe) but clean and charming. Close to tram 28, the water and easy access to other parts of the city. It is a little pricey but worth it.
