Small-group adventures for travelers 50+ since 1987

Since 1987, ElderTreks has led small-group adventures for travellers aged 50 and over.

We design every trip with mature explorers in mind. Our focus is comfort, safety, and enriching experiences—without losing the thrill of discovery.

Because your time matters, our itineraries are carefully paced and physically accessible.

Whether you’re trekking Mongolia’s Gobi Desert or exploring the Galápagos, you’ll travel with like-minded peers.

Each journey is led by expert guides with first-hand experience in the region.

To keep your experience personal, land adventures cap at 16 people. Ship-based tours use small expedition vessels, not cruise ships.

As we age, our travel needs evolve. That’s why we prioritize accessible stays, flexible plans, and inclusive pricing.

You can choose your airline, extend your trip, or use loyalty points—your travel is truly your own.

Rooted in Local Connections

ElderTreks hires local guides and drivers in each destination, providing economic support to the communities we visit and enriching our travellers’ experience through local knowledge and cultural connection. One great example is Riri, a standout guide from Indonesia who began as a local partner and is now a full Tour Leader for our Bali & Java programs.

Commitment to Sustainability

We support a number of development projects throughout the world, and we make sure you have close contact with local people. During some of our adventures, you have the opportunity to visit schools and orphanages.

Two women stop to take a photo while on a hiking trip. Traveling more sustainably is one way women can make a difference in travel.
