Road trips for women: An intercultural, learning and human experience on 2 wheels across Asia.

Alison Grun offers women-led motorcycle trips across Asia to foster sisterhood across borders, boost self-confidence, and contribute to local women’s economic independence.

Adventure trips on 2 wheels:

  • giving a good challenge to women riders
  • visiting off-the beaten track areas/ rural communities
  • prioritizing homestays
  • contributing to NGOs supporting women’s education/skills/and jobs in our host country
  • taking our time on the road (10 days mini) to get to know the local culture and learn new skills.

I love to travel off the beaten track and meet local people, try to experience the local way of life whenever possible. I believe it’s people who make travels memorable. and I endeavour to spend as much as possible in the local economy

At FreeW, we believe that all women should feel free to do what they want and be themselves, and that motorcycling is one of the best vehicles for women to challenge gender stereotypes, foster sisterhood, build their self-confidence and achieve whatever they set their mind to.

It’s the reason why we are driven to organise women-led motorcycle adventures, in countries where visiting women riders get to discover and experience the life of other women in their host country, contribute to their economic activities, and inspire each others to break barriers to freedom.

For those women riders in search of challenges and fun, while giving back to the local communities and strengthening their sisterhood bonds.
