Pack A Fork! is a boutique tour operator specializing in tours that give guests an opportunity to discover and share destinations together through culture and food. Tours highlight landmarks, history, culture, art, architecture, food and wine of a region or country. Activities can include hiking, biking, cooking, kayaking, wine tasting and more. The activity level is easy to moderate. Tours are ‘lively’ but designed with the all-important downtime to unwind, relax or discover on your own/with new friends. All tours are fully guided by local certified guides and those with culinary expertise. We specialize in unique experiences so guests meet locals and share in their culture/traditions.
Trips are guided by those who know their region and can lead others toward authentic experiences that aren’t easily found. The purpose of each tour is to encourage our guests to experience, explore, learn and create. Tours are led by two leaders who travel with the group and by local certified guides along the way. All tours are immersive so our guests can mingle with the local people. Group size is small – under 15 guests + guides to ensure individualized attention.
Patty is a foodie at heart, and loves discovering food, wine, cooking and culture. Trips are called ‘adventures’ because they convey the spirit of discovery that is the core of their creation. They are all custom-designed with local input to provide a variety of sites and experiences. Usually included are main sites (you can’t go and miss these) and off-the-beaten path experiences. Guests can count on fun, camaraderie, laughs, learning and sharing.
Patty can’t think of anything she would rather be doing then leading others toward new experiences and learning through travel. These tours are more like a group of friends traveling together than a standard tour!
