Churchill called this country the Pearl of Africa for its beauty, abundant wildlife and diversity. Not a destination covered from Lebanon and still not hit by mass tourism (thankfully), how could we NOT organize a trip to this country?
Small-group safari in Uganda
This 10-day adventure is designed for the avid wildlife enthusiast!
Start your adventure as you head to Northwestern Uganda. A stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary will get you up close with one of Africa’s Big 5 heavyweights. Proceed to Murchison Falls National Park, where you will engage in a game drive and a boat cruise, delivering a powerful wildlife experience. Continue on to Queen Elizabeth National Park; marvel at the diversity of wildlife, including elephants, lions, and buffalo. A boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel presents a unique opportunity to observe hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of other animals and bird species in their natural habitat!
Head to Southwestern Uganda, to the depths of Uganda’s Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, to see some of the world’s last remaining mountain gorillas. Here, at Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, you will enter one of the most biologically diverse ecosystems in Africa on an expedition to find a close-knit gorilla family. Bwindi is home to roughly 480 mountain gorillas, which is half the world’s remaining population, and your chance of coming into contact with a group is approximately 99 percent.
