Marvelous Mexico: Flowers, Art & Architecture

Exploring the Robert Brady museum in Cuernavaca - Marvelous Mexico: Flowers, Art & Architecture - Girls Guide to the World

Discover the vibrant heart of Mexico City and the serene beauty of Valle de Bravo for 6 nights.

Like many shy but brilliant people, Mexico doesn’t reveal herself all at once. She might show you her party persona in Cancun or Puerto Vallarta, but the real Mexico holds onto her secrets, only revealing them when you take the time to look deeply.

On this trip, we’ll do just that. We start our adventure in majestic Mexico City, where we’ll focus on great art, architecture, and stellar gourmet food. If you’ve never been before, Mexico City is a must-see destination – a vibrant blend of history, art, and urban energy.

Then, we’ll head to one of Mexico’s “pueblo mágicos,” the Valle de Bravo, on the shores of Lake Avándaro and surrounded by lush forests and mountains.

We’ll spend the last few days of this magical trip in another pueblo mágico, Tepoztlán. This small but alluring village just outside Cuernavaca is the mythical birthplace of Quetzalcoatl, the Aztec feathered serpent god. Cradled by dramatic, copper-toned, mountain cliffs, Tepoztlán is a remarkable mix of colonial and indigenous experience.

Highlights:

  • Experience an authentic Mexican market
  • Visit Casa Azul, Frida Kahlo’s home
  • Tour one of the most incredible and newest art museums in Mexico
  • Learn to arrange and grow organic flowers from one of the very best
  • Explore the Robert Brady Museum in Cuernavaca, which oozes charm and design-know how
