A Scenic 17 days Journey Across New Zealand’s South Island with ZigZag NZ
This guided small group tour begins in the charming harbour village of Akaroa, known for its French influence and picturesque setting. From here, we travel across the Canterbury Plains to the stunning alpine landscapes of Arthur’s Pass National Park, filled with lakes, rivers, and dramatic mountains. After crossing to the West Coast, we pass through ancient forests, serene bays, and coastal villages before arriving at Kahurangi National Park, where you can opt to explore limestone caves.
Continuing inland, we follow the turquoise Buller Gorge, capturing the iconic jetty scene at Nelson Lakes. Then, enjoy the serene beauty of Golden Bay and Abel Tasman National Park. The journey ends in the Marlborough Sounds, followed by a ferry ride to Wellington, New Zealand’s lively capital.
