Ring in the Spring alongside WalkingWomen on this popular Turkey cruise on the Mediterranean Sea in the warmth of the Turkish sun. Long-time WalkingWomen partners – the highly experienced Anne Bektas and Captain Adil – helm this experience. It is filled with lovely hidden hikes, plenty of opportunities for swimming, and traditional Turkish food to nourish the body and soul after days full of activities.
Several beautiful hikes await on this Turkey cruise adventure, which blends the luxury of yachting with the experience of traversing a new landscape on foot. Before the adventure begins, you can fit in a traditional Turkish Bath. Afterwards, walk the ruins of a Byzantine church, explore an ancient Roman Village, hike from the ruins of Cleopatra’s Bath along the area’s dramatic coastline, and explore the ancient city of Tlos and the abandoned village of Kayakoy.
This trek has earned a WalkingWoman score of 2 goats, as it follows rocky goat trails with steep sections throughout the path. The hikes in this itinerary can vary between 4km and 10km and take two to four and a half hours to complete when walking comfortably, therefore, the team recommends participants have a reasonable level of fitness to participate. Women with moderate mobility concerns may want to sit this out, however, adventurers seeking a slower pace may skip out on the more challenging treks in favor of a day off to sun themselves on board the yacht.
With only seven cabins available, this is a small-group trip. However, WalkingWomen will gift a £100 discount to anyone who refers a friend to book a cabin.
