The Paris Experience

A group of women enjoying a day together in Paris - The Paris Experience

A unique week-long Experience trip based in the heart of Paris

Paris is one of the most fascinating, beautiful and loved cities on earth. The “City of Light” is the apex of architectural beauty, artistic expression and culinary delight. Bit the true charm of Paris, lies in the small details: the quaint cobblestone streets, perfectly manicured gardens, bakeries on every street corner, Belle Epoque brasseries, and sidewalk cafés. This is the locals’ authentic Paris and the one we enjoy during our week together. This trip is designed for those who have already visited the most-touristed highlights of Paris. We dig deeper, providing experiences that locals enjoy, some not normally accessible to visitors. Our week focuses on themed days, including French gastronomy and food history, art and architecture, homes and gardens, neighborhoods, and history, while visiting through the perspective of locals for a true “inside” experience.

Special activities and unique experiences include:

  • Start the journey with an unforgettable ride in an iconic French Citroën 2CV car. This bucket-list experience is perfect for connecting with fellow travelers.

  • Next, explore the famous St Ouen flea market, one of the world’s largest antique markets. It’s the ideal spot to find vintage fashion or unique treasures.

  • Continue with a walking tour of the Marais district, one of Paris’ oldest neighborhoods. Here, you’ll discover aristocratic mansions and hidden courtyards dating back to the time of King Louis XIV.

  • Then, visit one of Paris’ charming “house” museums, such as Musée Carnavalet or Musée Cognac-Jay. These museums offer unique collections of art and furniture, showcasing Paris’ rich history.

  • Afterward, explore the Jardins de Bagatelle with a passionate garden designer, uncovering the beauty of this serene space.

  • We’ll also embark on an “off the beaten path” walking tour of the Latin Quarter, our neighborhood for the week. Discover hidden gems known only to locals.

  • A special day is dedicated to French gastronomy and food history, hosted by a professional chef. It includes lunch at a historic dining establishment.

  • Additionally, we’ll take a day trip outside Paris to visit the historic Château de Malmaison, the former home of Josephine and Napoleon Bonaparte.

  • Throughout the week, enjoy memorable meals in various settings, including one in a private home. You’ll also have free time to relax, shop, or explore on your own.

This “mixed” group of women and men is usually more than 60% women. Solo women will feel very comfortable in this group!
