The exterior of the Scandic Ishavshotel in Tromsø, Norway, recently recommended as a safe place for women to stay by a JourneyWoman reader.

I thought the rooms were very well designed with a comfortable bed, with large windows to see the view of the city and harbour. Breakfast is included, and it’s centrally located in Tromso.
