Our trip offers the chance to explore Bulgaria’s rich cultural and natural heritage. Specifically, we’ll visit the remote Rhodope, Pirin, and Rila Mountains. Additionally, you’ll interact with locals and learn about their way of life. For example, much of our time will be spent in traditional Muslim villages, offering insight into the Pomak community. By contrast, we’ll also explore three of Bulgaria’s most striking Orthodox Christian monasteries. Furthermore, the natural history is equally captivating. During our hikes, there will be excellent opportunities to spot rare flora and fauna. We know Bulgaria might not be on your bucket list. However, it absolutely should be!
Bulgaria is a diverse and stunningly beautiful country. It features charming villages, vibrant history, and delicious fresh food, much of it organically grown.
