This is a Western Türkiye cultural tour packed with a multitude of highlights: enjoy an evening cruise up the Bosphorus by private vessel; view outstanding museum collections in Ankara, Burdur, Antalya, and Ephesus; and enjoy specially arranged private tours with archaeologists at several archaeological sites including some of the most important excavations in the eastern Mediterranean – Perge, Myra, and Troy.

Our limited group size allows for overnights in unique hotels, dinners in restaurants serving traditional Ottoman cuisine, and intimate discussions with our study leader, throughout the entirety of the trip.

Discover Türkiye’s rich history through iconic landmarks and ancient cities. In Istanbul, explore the grand Topkapı Palace and the stunning Yerebatan Cistern before enjoying a private cruise along the Bosphorus. Visit Ankara’s Museum of Anatolian Civilizations and the rock-hewn sanctuary of Yazılıkaya.

Journey to the ancient Hittite capital of Hattuşa and marvel at Göreme and the underground city in Cappadocia. In Konya, visit Mevlana’s Tomb and the Eflatunpinar Hittite Monument.
