Large, beautifully decorated rooms in a very central location. The building is a Unesco heritage site and has a combination of private apartments and the hotel. My room overlooked the Corsi Gardens and the hotel is steps away from the Boboli Gardens, Porta Romana and a short walk up to Ponte Vecchio. There is a breakfast option that was not included with the room charge. Also, rates can be from CAD$50-100 in the off-season, so that is very reasonable. It was safe and clean and very well-maintained. There was a bus stop steps away from the hotel to go to the main downtown area but an abundance of restaurants, markets and cafes within a 5-minute walk in any direction.
