At Blue Sky, we wake up daily and do something we love! We are inspired, and we get to inspire others to go out and do things that inspire them.
Blue Sky Expeditions started in 2019 as a follow-on of the conservation, environmental and humanitarian work that Blue Sky Society Trust has done since 2012. This non-profit began raising funds and awareness for conservation groups by linking ethical adventure travel with giving back. Carla Geyser started Blue Sky Society Trust in 2012 due to believing that unless we uplift humans from poverty, we will not be able to save our planet from a slow death. So many animal species are becoming extinct, and we are not doing enough to stop this. Conservation, humanity, and the environment are all intertwined. Humans who have access to education and develop compassion will naturally want to save the animals that share our world.
Her deep love for travelling Africa and conservation led her to start. It is truly the most beautiful thing in the world to be able to make a difference! The best part is figuring out the many ways we can do it. One of them is through our #Journeys with Purpose initiatives, which we call our trips. Our expeditions each year are exhilarating, customized once-off, and filled with adventure, fun, and doing good. We encourage ladies from all over the world with a passion for making a difference and getting involved while experiencing the beauty of ‘Mama’ Africa through Travel to join us. You won’t be disappointed.
