I feel that it is important to create a space for women to travel to Provence and experience the slowed-down lifestyle of the region, which is rich with culture and history. I find that groups of women easily create bonds of sisterhood, which often create friendships that continue after the tour. When traveling with women, there is an energy of acceptance and support, which enriches the group experiences.

Provence Lifestyle and Photography Tours, founded by Raina Stinson in 2018, offers boutique travel experiences that blend photography, wellness and the charm of Provence, France. With over 30 years of experience as an internationally renowned professional photographer and seven years as a full-time resident of Provence, Raina specializes in the stunning Luberon Valley and Les Alpilles regions.

Her small-group tours are boutique by design, with a maximum of five guests, ensuring an intimate and personalized experience. Workshops are held at her private countryside villa, allowing clients to immerse themselves in the authentic Provençal lifestyle. Raina combines her expertise in photography with mindfulness and meditation practices, offering a unique and relaxing way to explore the hidden treasures of the region, far from tourist crowds.

As a native English speaker who also speaks French, Raina provides seamless communication and a welcoming atmosphere. Friendly, enthusiastic, and professional, she is dedicated to helping her guests discover new ways to see and capture the beauty of their journey while enjoying the real Provence.

Commitment to Sustainability

I am dedicated to sustainability by minimizing waste, conserving energy, and supporting businesses that share these values. On my tours, I prioritize recycling and the use of reusable products, encouraging clients to bring their own reusable water bottles as I avoid providing plastic ones. Living in the south of France, I prefer shopping at local markets, choose organic products that all markets seem to supply, and support local artisans and small businesses. My goal is to take clients to authentic, off-the-beaten-path destinations where we can experience the true essence of Provence, all while respecting nature and ensuring we leave no trace behind.

Single Supplement Policy

My prices are based on both single and double occupancy and private and shared bathrooms. I do not have a single room supplement. My clients have the option of either a private room with private bathroom, or private room with shared bathroom. The price of the tour is per person as I lead small groups, there is no discount for sharing a private room for example.
