My name is Mandy Salonika, owner of The Adventurous Ewe. For me, travelling as a solo woman is daunting, probably more so as I get older. For this reason, I decided to create SMALL tour groups for women only, where we can see the world, while being cosseted and treated in a safe environment. I love the fact that I can enjoy the camaraderie, have fun and make new friends which last after the tour.

I started The Adventurous Ewe in 2022 offering bespoke tours, which connect women of a similar age and like-minded within a safe, accompanied small tour group. Women only travel gives women, whether you are a professional working woman, who does not always have the time, or you do not have travel companions to go with you, tour options without having to worry about logistics or safety. Small tour groups also allow friendships to form that last long after the tour is over.

We travel to Morocco, Europe – Croatia, Walking in Tuscany and Xmas Markets, always including something special. Each year some of the tours change and we explore somewhere different.

We also have luxury tours, Golfing in Africa – Morocco, Kenya, Victoria Falls, Namibia.

Commitment to Sustainability

we aim to support women in local communities on each tour by engaging with them, buying their products, learning from them e.g. cookery classes. Sometimes we take a train instead of driving. I don’t have a link about that.

Single Supplement Policy

Our prices are based on double occupancy. We do charge an additional fee if you’d like a single room. Please chat with us for further details!
