Cosmopolitan Havana is a dining and nightlife capital, famed for its UNESCO plazas and classic cars. Here, you can visit female entrepreneurs and women’s collectives.

Next, journey to Viñales, where the pace is slow and the locals are friendly. Spend two days amid the valley’s distinct beauty, touring farms and learning how tobacco is turned into world-class cigars. If you love outdoor adventures, this is the perfect place to indulge. Rent a bike, hike the valley, explore on horseback, or zipline through the treetops.

Then, we move on to the southern central coast of Cuba, to French-designed Cienfuegos, the city on the bay often overlooked by tourists. On the way, we stop at the infamous Bay of Pigs, where the US invaded Cuba in the 60s.

Our last destination is the coastal open-air museum, Trinidad, with its brightly colored colonial relics and cobblestone streets. Optional activities here include beach time, visiting history museums, dancing the night away, or admiring the handiwork of local artisans.
