Discover the wonders of Tunisia for 16-day with Far Horizons
Forged along the North African coastline, Tunisia offers an impressive variety of landscapes. In the North, you’ll find lush green mountains, lakes, and rivers. Meanwhile, the southern region is dominated by the vast Sahara Desert, broken only by scattered oases. Tunisia’s location near Sicily’s narrow straits has placed it at the center of Mediterranean history. For millennia, numerous armies have passed through, leaving fascinating traces of their presence. The Phoenicians, Romans, Vandals, and others have all left their mark. On this journey, led by Roman expert Dr. Jennifer Tobin.

“Dr Jennifer Tobin was fabulous! She made this tour so great, with the depth of her knowledge, and her obvious enthusiasm for Turkish culture and ancient history. Also, she has a wicked sense of humor which added to our enjoyment. I also loved her ‘hand-outs’ for each site!” – Christine Kaferly
