Embark on an Unforgettable Journey Through Uganda’s Wilderness for 9-days with Private Journeys

Immerse in the natural wonders of Uganda as we embark on a thrilling adventure from Entebbe.

Our first stop takes us to Kibale Forest National Park

The park protects a moist evergreen forest. Specifically, it’s abundant with diverse primate species like black and white colobus, red-tailed, and velvet monkeys. It is home to 13 species of chimpanzees.

Highlight: Experience the fascinating activity of Chimpanzee tracking.

Our journey continues to Queen Elizabeth National Park

This is the second largest park in Uganda, after Murchison Falls National Park. It boasts some of the most magnificent views in the Western arm of the Great Rift Valley and a remarkable variety of ecosystems, from semi-deciduous tropical forests to green meadows, savannahs, and swamps. Here, you will see many wildlife animals, such as elephants and giraffes.

Prepare for an awe-inspiring experience in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park

Home to the iconic mountain gorillas. Embark on a Gorilla Trek, a once-in-a-lifetime adventure that demands a degree of fitness but promises unforgettable encounters with these magnificent creatures. If time permits, immerse yourself in the rich culture of the Batwa community, learning about their traditions and enjoying their vibrant music and dance.

Highlights:

  • Only 600 gorillas remain in the world, and half are found in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park.
  • Bwindi National Park offers some of Africa’s best montane forest bird watching. Around 350 different species have been recorded.

Our final destination is Lake Mburo National Park

It is home to many antelopes and other animals, such as Buchells, Zebras, Hippos, Warthogs, Buffaloes, and Birds, leaving the spectacular Kigezi highlands behind. Take a boat cruise on the Lake Mburo. The cruise on the lake equally guarantees one a view of the flora and fauna at the national park alongside wildlife such as crocodiles, hippos and bird species such as African fish eagles, pelicans, kingfishers, herons, cormorants, rare shoe bills and hammer kobs.
