Aurora Africa was founded by two like-minded American women with a passion for the wildlife, wilderness and people of Africa. In 2008 a mutual Tanzanian friend introduced us, and we founded Aurora Africa in 2013. We strive to give you a different experience; one that will possibly change your outlook on life. An integral part of our mission is to connect travellers with projects that support Tanzanians. We craft adventures to Kenya, Botswana, Uganda, South Africa, Zambia, Rwanda and more but our favourite destination by far is Tanzania, home of the lion’s share of African wildlife and wilderness. Wild places feed our souls and we work with individuals and small groups on a private basis. Occasionally we will personally host and guide set departures for small groups in Tanzania.
