Collette Gives You More

As the first female CEO of a 106-year-old travel company, I have a deep appreciation for women’s travel and recognize its crucial importance to our business and industry. Women make 80% of all travel decisions, and woman owned and led companies, which we try to include whenever possible, are a significant driver of decent work and economic growth worldwide. Travel can transform you, create connections, and open your mind – it is vital to an empowered and vibrant life. When women do it together these effects are multiplied.

The energy created when a group of adventurous, passionate women join together to experience new destinations and cultures is powerful. The connections and community they form with each other is deep, and the positive impact they have on the places they visit and care about is inspiring. Women’s travel, more than perhaps any other type, shows that travel truly can be a force for good.

Here at Collette, we’ve been guided travel experts for over 106 years. We offer more than 160 tours to destinations on all seven continents. Drawing on our rich history, we are driven by our values of caring more and doing more for our guests. Our Headquarters are located in Pawtucket, Rhode Island with divisions in the United Kingdom, Canada, and Australia.

Our global team is comprised of caring travel professionals who believe that travel is vital to a life well-lived, and we take immense pride in delivering extraordinary travel experiences that enhance the lives of our guests and enrich the many communities where we give back. From our charitable Collette Cares initiatives to our support of the travel professional community, we seek to build connections that make a positive impact.

With a carefully curated selection of land tours, river cruises, rail journeys, small group tours, and single hotel city stays, we provide our guests with cultural experiences that go far beyond the ordinary. From Italy to Australia to America’s National Parks and beyond, our team of experts has created immersive itineraries that deliver exceptional value along with the kind of inspiring moments that make travel so special.

Commitment to Sustainability

At Collette, we are dedicated to promoting sustainable travel practices, minimizing our environmental impact and supporting the destinations in which we live, work and travel. As members of the UN Global Compact, integrating sustainable and responsible practices into our strategy and operations is imperative to the business and it is essential to ensuring the preservation of the unique destinations that form the backbone of our industry for generations to come.

It’s not just about reducing our carbon footprint by making Explorations tours carbon neutral, adhering to strict animal welfare standards, eliminating single use plastics on tour, or reducing our corporate emissions by installing solar. It is looking at every single vendor and every purchase to figure out how we can do better. We know that we are only as good as the people we partner with. From our office supply chain to on tour operations, we choose partners dedicated to ethical and environmentally friendly practices in support of the UN SDGs. By ensuring our entire network aligns with our values, we aim to create a positive impact that extends beyond our immediate operations, fostering a more responsible and ethical travel industry.

As we guide travelers through incredible destinations, we prioritize impact moments and responsible travel highlights on our tours. From supporting local community initiatives to promoting wildlife conservation, we believe in creating meaningful connections that leave a positive mark. Join us on a journey where responsible travel and unforgettable experiences go hand in hand, as we strive to make every adventure not just extraordinary, but also a force for good in the world.”
