Culinary Travel with Global Palate Adventures
I founded Global Palate Adventures in 2015 by taking a small group of adventurers on a visit to Oaxaca, cooking mole, and sampling mezcal. Since then, we’ve run our small culinary-focused tours to Spain, Portugal, Chile, Croatia, Italy, Thailand, and Morocco. This year we’re launching new trips to Scotland, British Columbia, and Bordeaux, France.
My business background is in agricultural marketing, connecting people with farmers and chefs. I’ve had the opportunity to travel throughout the U.S. and to many places around the globe, learning how food and culture are closely intertwined. Global Palate Adventures is a natural extension of that passion for travel, food, wine, and culture. There is no better way to get to know a new country and immerse yourself in its culture than to roll up your sleeves and learn from the local culinary experts.
About Our Tours
We hand-craft our itineraries with local culinary experts in each destination. Our ideal group size is 10-14 people maximum so we can easily walk, travel, and eat together. We welcome guests of any gender, including women traveling solo or with friends and couples traveling together.
Although our activities vary by destination, our specialties include visits to local markets with a chef followed by a cooking class and a meal; walking and tasting tours of historical areas while hearing the stories behind the iconic dishes; wine tasting, (or cider, whisky, or beer!); and some free time for shopping or wandering.
