Mother of Corals

Krista Shoe CEO of Mother of Corals

We teach communities worldwide to rebuild coral reefs.

Long before I founded my nonprofit organization, I was a female solo traveler. I understand the importance of finding both empowering and safe experiences to open the world up and make it seem smaller at the same time.

Founded in 2020, Mother of Corals (MOC) emerged from a passion for artificial reef development and coral restoration. We understand that education and local commitment are crucial for these habitats to succeed in the future. Community members, students, and educators must participate in the restoration process. This involvement ensures the continuation of coral reef restoration efforts. We offer 1, 2, 3, and 7-day experiences to learn about and participate in coral restoration. These experiences are available for both divers and snorkelers.

Commitment to Sustainability

As an ocean conservation organization, sustainability is a priority and focus for our mission and our team members.
