Women In Wonderland – Yellowstone In Winter Photography Tour

A group of women dressed in outdoor winter gear stand for a picture in front of a yellow bus on a snow-covered road as part of the Yellowstone in Winter Photography Tour by Women in Wildlife Photography

Wildlife Photography will be heading to the Serengeti of the West in all its winter splendor.

With its vast, breathtaking landscape, hot springs and volcano. Yellowstone National Park is like nothing you’ve ever seen before! Add a blanket of snow, and you’ll feel as though you’ve walked into a winter wonderland! Winter is arguably the best time of the year to photograph wildlife in the park. Food is harder to come by and the instinct to survive in this harsh environment can lead to some exciting encounters.

Winter is arguably the best time of year to visit Yellowstone.  The white winter landscape offers a beautiful backdrop for wildlife photography.  Imagine photographing a Red Fox mousing in the snow, or a Black Wolf in a wintery forest, all the while sharing the adventure with a small group of women and an expert guide that puts you in front of the most amazing wildlife encounters.

Your Host and details of our trip:

Join wildlife photographers Sarah E. Devlin and Traci Sepkovic to explore everything Yellowstone has to offer in winter. Yellowstone needs time so we will be spending a total of 7 days in the park in order to maximize wildlife photography opportunities.

We’ll be on the Northern Range for five days and then we’ll spend two days in the interior on a private snow coach.

We are likely to see and photograph the following wildlife species: bison, Pronghorn, Bighorn Sheep, Elk, Moose, Fox, Coyote, and, with a little luck, Wolves.

Our tours offer the perfect blend of photography mentoring and fun! Enjoy a supportive environment with like-minded women who love to travel and have a passion for photography.

Women In Wildlife Photography welcomes all levels of photographers, from beginner to advanced. We all support each other in the field of Wildlife Photography.  The only requirement is a healthy sense of adventure!
