Travel with Purpose!

The adventurous, capable, independent-minded women who have shared their time, skills, and enthusiasm on our volunteer trips have been major contributors to the success of Conservation Volunteers International Program. We sincerely appreciate them and know that their continued participation in our volunteer trips is essential for us to accomplish our nonprofit’s mission in the future. The women who volunteer on our trips come from all walks of life. The characteristics they share are openness to new experiences, a willingness to share their knowledge and skills with others, and the generosity to care about the world. They have the heart and spirit to make a difference. We are energized by them, we learn from them, and we work hard to earn their continued loyalty.

ConservationVIP is an environmental nonprofit focused on sustaining the world’s greatest landscapes, cultural heritage sites, and biodiversity. Our founders created it to channel travellers’ enthusiasm into meaningful activities benefiting the places they visit.

As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, we prioritize purpose over profit and ensure accountability in all our actions. Trip participants can trust that their journey with us supports sustainable travel.

Our trips attract travellers seeking immersive experiences and meaningful connections. Participants collaborate with local communities to conserve natural and cultural heritage treasures.

By volunteering on diverse projects, participants enjoy unique activities unavailable to most tourists. Thanks to our loyal travelers, we’ve expanded from Patagonia to support ten extraordinary destinations, including Machu Picchu and the Galapagos.

Commitment to Sustainability

Conservation Volunteers International Program is dedicated to helping sustain some of the world’s greatest landscapes, cultural heritage sites, and biodiversity. We believe that the activities people engage in when they travel are fundamental to ensuring that they are traveling sustainably. We structure our trip activities so our travelers can engage in meaningful projects which help the destination. Our projects support the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals of Life on Land, Life Below Water and Climate Action.

Single Supplement Policy

To keep our prices as low as possible so that all who wish to help the destination can participate, we offer double occupancy rates. When someone requests double occupancy, we match them with their preferred partner if they request a specific person, or we will assign a person of the same gender to share the room. Whenever possible, we also offer the option of single occupancy.
