Travel with Purpose!

The adventurous, capable, independent-minded women who have shared their time, skills, and enthusiasm on our volunteer trips have been major contributors to the success of Conservation Volunteers International Program. We sincerely appreciate them and know that their continued participation in our volunteer trips is essential for us to accomplish our nonprofit’s mission in the future.

The women who volunteer on our trips come from all walks of life. The characteristics they share are openness to new experiences, a willingness to share their knowledge and skills with others, and the generosity to care about the world. They have the heart and spirit to make a difference. We are energized by them, we learn from them, and we work hard to earn their continued loyalty.

ConservationVIP is an environmental nonprofit dedicated to helping sustain some of the world’s greatest landscapes, cultural heritage sites, and biodiversity. Our founders established the nonprofit to channel the enthusiasm of travelers into activities which benefit the places they want to visit.

As a nonprofit 501(c)(3), we are driven by purpose, not profit. We are held accountable for our actions, so our trip participants can be assured that traveling with us is, indeed, a responsible way to travel.

Our trips appeal to responsible travelers who want immersive experiences and who appreciate the deeper connections and sense of satisfaction that comes from collaborating with local communities to conserve natural and cultural heritage treasures.

Traveling with purpose, volunteering on a wide variety of project, our trip participants enjoy activities unavailable to typical tourists. With the help of loyal, repeat travelers, we expanded from our first trip in Patagonia to supporting ten extraordinary destinations including Machu Picchu and the Galapagos
